1. Select a medium-sized chunk of hair that begins at your crown and lies underneath the top layer of hair. Using a comb, tease the hair. To tease, comb down the hair towards your scalp. This should produce a frizzy effect. Spray with hairspray.
2. When you have finished teasing, brush section back and pull top layer of hair over the teased section. This should give your hair volume, and the top layer of hair will give it a finished look.
3. Add a headband close to the forehead, so the bump of hair is behind the headband.
