Lunch
Try these ideas at school (or at home):
Deli sandwich (ham, turkey, tuna, cheese, or peanut butter for protein; bread or wrap for the grain) with lettuce, tomato or other veggies.
Cruise through the salad bar, adding protein (hard-boiled eggs, lunchmeat, cheese, cottage cheese, chickpeas) to the veggies; add a breadstick or roll for the grain.
A slice of cheese pizza makes a meal when you add carrot sticks or a fruit cup.
