Ever been on the boards and felt like your message was...missing something? Like it's lacking your own personal touch or style? What you're probably missing is a signature.
A signature (or signature block as it's more formally known) is a block of text or pictures that is automatically added on to the end of a message (hence, the name). Once added, it gives a feeling of the writer's personality or adds a distinguishing feature, which sets your message apart from the rest. And, well, signatures are also just plain fun.
This guide is all about creating and editing signatures (a.k.a. sigs, siggies, sig files) for the message boards (mainly gURL's, but some of these tips work for other message boards or email, as well). It might seem complicated at first, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be experimenting with your siggy constantly.
An added bonus: we've created FREE gURL blinkies for you to use and share. So, what are you waiting for?
