Finger curls are very 1920s and very hip. However, you may have to practice a few times before you get it right. Make sure to clear a lot of time before you embark on this adventure.
- Begin with wet hair and apply a setting creme to your entire head (found at many drugstores or beauty supply stores).
- Make a side part and comb hair straight. Starting an inch from the scalp, place your index figure on top of the hair. Your next finger should be placed underneath the hair but close to the last finger. Keep working your way downwards, alternating between over and under the hair. Dry hair as you work your way through the hair and spray so that it holds it shape.
- After you complete one wave, begin the next wave behind the first. Work front to back. When finishing the completed look, spray hair all over and blow-dry so every piece is held into place.
