Modeling's hard work, but it's also fun. Models constantly change their looks to build their portfolios and look for possible work.

Models may spend their days searching for photographers, hair and make-up artists, doing shoots or working for agencies.

The benefits of modeling are being signed to a major contract, such as Phat Farm or Baby Phat, or maybe even doing runway shows. Some ladies want to be the next Tyra Banks; some gentlemen want to be the next Tyson Beckford.

"Modeling is just like having your own VIP session because you have a photographer and your own hair/make-up artist," says Tiaas Coles. "Sometimes I feel like Jennifer Lopez on her photo shoots for Rolling Stone magazine."

Get a manger or an agency that will give you a better feel for the industry.
