Even if it's your very first attempt at comic making, don't be shy. If you haven't already, check out gURL comix! Then, send your own stuff to gURL.

How to make a webcomic for gURL:
Each panel should be no wider than 530 pixels and no taller than 600 pixels (350 pixels tall usually works best.) Save your individual panels as separate .gif or .jpg files under 90 k each. Please name your files with numbers so we know what order to read the comic. Try to make your comic as legible and sharp as possible. You may include your signature on the last panel with your email or web address.

Comic creators are encouraged to be creative and challenge cliches about being a teen girl.

How to submit:
To be considered, please email your comics, ideas, sketches, and/or portfolio link to the Creative Director of gURL.com. Please put "Comix Creator" in the subject line. We will contact you if we plan to publish your comic.

If you prefer to mail us a comic, send it to gURL.com/Comix submission, 500 Seventh Ave, 14th floor, New York, NY, 10018. Be sure to include a self-addressed stamped envelope if you want us to return your original work.
