More children are being home schooled now than in previous decades. In 2003, 1.1 million students from kindergarten to 12th grade were home schooled and researchers think that number has grown to well over two million today. While that may seem like a lot of people, home schoolers only make up around two percent of the total K-12 population in the United States.
