Most treatments for Tourette's are aimed at controlling and minimizing the presence of tics, which can be embarrassing and isolating.
Such treatments for tics include different kinds of medication and behavior therapies. Behavior therapies are used to teach people with Tourette's to mentally control their tics instead of being medicated.
