Article Image If you notice you're sweating more than usual, it could be caused by the foods you eat and/or medicines you take. Spicy foods, hot beverages, caffeine and alcohol can all make you sweat. Some medicines for mental disorders, morphine and even too much Tylenol or aspirin can get your sweat ducts pumping.

The climate you live in, and how dry or humid it is there, can also affect the way you sweat. If you live in a dry climate, your skin might taste salty because the water evaporates quickly off your skin and leaves behind the rest. It's hard to cool off as well in humid weather. Since there is already so much moisture in the air, there's not much room for water to evaporate.
