How can I tell if I have a UTI? Symptoms of a urinary tract infection can include:
a painful, burning sensation while urinating
a frequent or intense need to urinate
cloudy, dark, bloody or particularly smelly urine
Lower back, abdominal, or pelvic pain and fever or chills can also be indicators of a UTI. You may experience all or none of these symptoms when you have a urinary tract infection.
It's also important to note that some of these symptoms may be caused by other infections, like Chlamydia or PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease) rather than a UTI.
