There are no tried and true statistics for how many people use vibrators or dildos, but a popular sex shop in New York City called "Toys In Babeland" says that 41% of its total sales are attributed to vibrators.
Vibrators and dildos are not as taboo as they once were--in fact, they have almost become "fashionable." Today, designers create high-priced dildos out of Swarovski and quartz crystals, fur and molten glass. Popular television shows also refer to these sex toys.
