The testicles, like the ovaries, are part of the endocrine and reproductive system. Sperm production occurs daily and begins when different parts of the brain release hormones that are important to this process. The bloodstream then carries the hormones to the testes. Once the hormones reach their respective places, it's time for the sperm to be released. Add some additional fluids and you wind up with ejaculate.
