The VAGINA is the interior passageway
to the uterus.
The walls of the vagina are soft folds
of skin and can vary from being almost
dry to very wet. Vaginal secretions
help keep the vagina clean and
maintain the acidity of the vagina to
prevent infections. During sexual
arousal, vaginal secretions increase
and provide lubrication for
penetration. "Getting wet" usually
happens during foreplay (making out).
INTERCOURSE is when the penis is
inserted in the vagina. If a woman has
intercourse and is not wet, it's not
usually very pleasurable. (Remember,
always use a condom for intercourse to
protect yourself from HIV/AIDS and
other sexually transmitted diseases.)
