These are the FALLOPIAN TUBES.
These "egg tubes" are about four inches long, and are
the passageway through which the egg travels from
the ovaries to the uterus. Microscopic hairs
inside propel the egg toward the uterus, and sperm
toward the egg.
When someone gets their tubes "tied," the
fallopian tubes are cut and/or blocked so the egg
and sperm cannot meet and pregnancy cannot
occur.
