DESIGN INTERN
The design intern will be responsible for online graphic design projects, including banner ads and graphics for the gURL.com website. The qualified person is a strong graphic designer, is computer and internet literate, and is capable of working quickly with Photoshop and ImageReady to produce exciting web-optimized images. Abilities in illustration and print design a plus. This position is unpaid, but college credit is available.
EDITORIAL INTERN
The editorial intern will work with gURL staff on editorial projects including writing, copy editing and research. The qualified person will be a strong writer and/or editor, computer literate and have some web production knowledge. This position is unpaid, but college credit is available.
COMMUNITY INTERN
The community intern will moderate all community boards, manage user feedback and handle customer service systems. The qualified person will report community activities to the editorial staff, be able to organize a high quantity of user input data, effecively use our database administration tools, and must be computer literate. This position is unpaid, but college credit is available.
PRODUCTION INTERN
The production intern will work with our production team on gURL.com. Work will include html and image production, assets management, daily site updates and maintenance as well as original content creation. We seek a responsible, self-guided individual who learns quickly and is computer- and internet-literate. Prior experience with html and image software is a must!
