14 Cute Fourth Of July Outfit Ideas

I feel like I was just talking about Memorial Day, yet here I am talking about Independence Day. Time is going by really fast. Don’t panic quite yet because there still is some time before the Fourth of July for you to get everything sorted. But, I want you to start thinking about things now — particularly your outfit.

Every celebration calls for a good outfit, and the Fourth of July is great because there’s an obvious theme: red, white, and blue. If you can throw in some stars and/or stripes, even better. If you’ve worn the same American flag onesie for the last couple years and you’re looking for something new that’s just as festive, get inspired by these 14 cute Fourth of July outfit ideas. You will likely already have some pieces in your closet that you can work into the looks.

1. Polka Dot Romper, Straw Bag, And Red Wedges

The flag might not have polka dots in it, but I don’t hear anyone complaining. This is adorable. Feel free to swap the wedges for red flats or sandals.

2. Red, White, And Blue Striped Blouse And White Skirt

The colors are perfect for Fourth of July and so is the preppy all-American vibe.

3. Graphic T-shirt, Bandana, Denim Jacket, And Jean Skirt

This look shows how to mix denim and how to put a stylish spin on a Fourth of July outfit. Even if you’re already wearing red, white, and blue, throw on a bandana for extra cuteness.

4. Red Star T-Shirt And Jean Shorts

Remember that traditional jean shorts are blue, fulfilling that component. They’re also a classic American wardrobe staple.

5. Star Print Tank Top And Red Skinny Jeans

If you’re going to buy anything, you will probably want to get this tank. It’s all you need to wear, but the red pants increase the patriotic vibes. White pants would also work.

6. Chambray Short And Red Shorts

Here’s another cute example of denim fabric ticking the blue component of your look. Also, look at the adorable scalloped hem on the shorts.

7. Red Baseball T-Shirt, Ripped Jeans, And Headband

Hands up if you want that T-shirt? And look at the headband and printed shoes, you guys.

8. Striped Dress, Hair Scarf, Red Bag, And Sandals

I don’t think this outfit could get any more festive or any more chic. Look at it. I know everyone is going to be copying this easy ponytail hack. I’m borrowing it.

9. Graphic T-Shirt, Star And Stripes Scarf, And White Shorts

Hands up if you want the scarf and the T-shirt? If you don’t get the exact pieces, you can still copy the idea of the look with white shorts and embellished sandals. Don’t forget your sunglasses. You’re likely going to be spending a lot of time outside.

10. Frilled Top, Striped Shorts, And Red Earrings

This outfit is full of unique ways to get the Fourth of July theme across. Love the red earrings.

11. Graphic T-Shirt, Striped Purse, And Denim Shorts

Gimme the T-shirt and the striped purse. Denim shorts keep the low-key summer vibes.

The softer colors in this look are no less festive. If you’re looking to do something different, this is a great option.

This is another creative interpretation of red, white, and blue. It makes you wish the American flag had hearts and gingham.

14. Red Dress, Cardigan, Blue Wedges, And Beige Bag

This is how you layer in the summer without overheating. The periwinkle blue is a fun twist on the traditional true blue.
