It Can Get Messy

I might be stating the obvious here, but if you haven't done it before, you need to be aware what's going to happen. Blood can get everywhere including the sheets, the mattress, your clothes, your hands. Within that, it can get in all sorts of crevices you didn't even know exist. I'm not trying to put you off it, I want you to be aware because knowing this beforehand can hopefully help you make adjustments so make the situation more enjoyable and less messy.

The Location Can Make All Of The Difference

If you're someone who normally gets it on in the comfort of your bed under the covers, you might find that's not ideal here. If you do like your bed, you will probably find it more helpful to put down some towels so if you leak, you can wash those rather than having to redo your entire bed. Some people prefer the bath or shower because any dripping blood goes down the drain.

You Might Find It Easier To Leave Your Underwear On

If you wear pads and/or you want to avoid getting blood everywhere, rubbing yourself with your panties on could be an option. You could do it over top of your underwear or you could just reach down there and stimulate your clitoris. If you want to insert anything up your vagina, it will obviously be a lot harder in the situation.

Sex Toys Might Not Be The Best Option

A sex toy doesn't absorb blood so it's not going to stop the bleeding. It's not a tampon. If you do decide to use sex toys, you will have to be very thorough in cleaning them before and after. Blood can get into all parts of the toy. And going to use a dildo and finding a bit of dried blood on it can be a big turnoff.

You May Love Or Hate The Tampon

If you wear tampons, you might want to leave yours in while masturbating to keep things as neat as possible. If you do that, be aware that you will not want to be sticking anything else up your vagina. Some people might be cool with leaving the tampon on, but some might hate it and feel it cramps their style because the string gets in the way.

Fingering Will Feel Very Different

Be aware that fingering will be messy. If it's part of your normal masturbation routine and you still want to try it, ensure that you're being hygienic and washing your hands before and after. To keep things clean, you might elect to use a condom on your finger. If you go bare, prepare for the mess and for things to feel different, i.e. wet You might even find fingering more comfortable because the blood could act like a lube of sorts.

You Might Find It Better Not To Use Your Hands

Do you not like the idea of getting blood all over your nice manicure? Take your hands out of the situation completely. You can try dry humping your pillow with your clothes on or you could use something like the shower head. Just remember that you don't want to be sticking random objects down there. Things should be clean. If you go with the shower head option, remember you shouldn't aim it up your vag.
