9 Mistakes You’ll Make During Your First Handjob

When we’re doing something for the first time, we’re never 100 percent prepared. Think about your first kiss. You probably had countless conversations with your friends about it and you probably read every kissing tip that existed on the internet. But you were probably still surprised when it came to the lip lock, right? It’s the same thing with giving a handjob for the first time.

If you’re thinking about giving bae a handjob, I want you to be prepared for it as much as possible. I want you to know some of the unexpected things that could happen, but I also want you to know about some of the common mistakes that people do when giving their first few handjobs. They’re not major things that will totally kill the mood, but if you can avoid them, it will be better for everyone.

To hopefully prevent some rookie errors, have a look at nine mistakes you’ll make during your first handjob. Even if you’re more experienced, have a look at them to ensure you’re not making the common mistakes.

Leaving Jewelry On

Are you the sort of girl who wears rings all the time? If you do, you will want to take off your rings, and maybe even bracelets, when you're giving a handjob. You might not think that they would make a difference but they will. Remember, that it is very sensitive down there, and you want to avoid any chafing. And chafing from jewelry is a lot worse than chafing just from fingers. Ouch.

Not Altering Rhythm and Speed

A good rule of advice to remember with all sexy stuff is to switch it up. It doesn't need to be major. When it comes to handjobs, you can alter the direction that you're going and/or the speed. Speed up in parts, slow down in others. You can even try using your other hand...or use both. Switching things up will intensify the feelings. Plus, it will hopefully give your wrist a break.

Completely Ignoring The Balls

Poor balls, they always seem to get forgotten about. I know that they're just hanging there, and they seem nondescript, but showing them some attention can benefit the whole handjob experience. When you're massaging the shaft, use your other hand to massage the balls. It can also be effective to switch from the shaft to the balls for a few minutes to tease bae.

Forgetting About The Entire Shaft

People can get so focused on the head that they forget the rest of the shaft. Pro tip: Massage all of it. You can use one hand on the head and one for the shaft, or you can run one hand up and down the shaft. You can alternate with the hand placement to suit you, just remember that they should be everywhere.

Squeezing Too Hard

I've said it before, but I will say it again: It is sensitive down there. The amount of pressure people like will vary depending on the individual. The best thing is to go a little lighter then ask bae what kind of pressure you should apply. If you get a little too intense, you could actually hurt bae. That's not the goal of this whole thing, eh?

Forgetting About Lube

Lube is essential during sex. It can also play a key role in a handjob. Think about the friction down there if you have dry hands and there's no sort of lubrication. Ouch. Some people use spit or hand lotion, but proper lube will never fail. You can also get fancy hot and cooling lubes to take things to the next level.

Going Super-Fast

When you start getting in the rhythm of things, it is natural to get faster, and faster, and faster, even if you don't realize you're doing it. It probably happens when you're giving speeches in class. I know you'll be thinking about a million different things when you're giving a handjob, but try to remember to slow down. Some fast moments are okay, but slowing things down can actually build up more intensity. Also, this isn't a race.

Not Factoring In The Foreskin

It's not a major thing, but you should take into account whether bae is circumcised or uncircumcised when you're giving a handjob. Uncircumcised penises have extra skin that's attached so you want to be aware of it. Don't ignore it because you don't know what to do with it. That could actually lead to injury. No one wants to accidentally get a nail under their foreskin. I'm cringing just at the thought.

Only Focusing On The Peen

Yeah, a handjob is obviously focused on the penis, but what makes a good handjob is the entire experience. Giving bae's stomach or legs a quick massage will probably be welcome. Also, consider how you're sitting/bending over. You can switch positions so bae gets different views and to keep yourself comfortable.
