I think we all know by now that being lazy is not just a character trait, but a way of life. Yes, we are tired all the time and yes, we all have empty water glasses by our bed sides that have been there for three days (the most true sign of a lazy girl). But that’s just the way it goes. And there should be no shame in being lazy! Sometimes, you are too exhausted to do things, like finish your laundry, or even pick out what gifts you want this year. I get it, since I am one of you (a lazy girl, that is). But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered – for gifts, I mean. Not, like, doing laundry. You’re on your own with that.
While procrastinating doing real chore, I have compiled this list of really important (and unique) gifts that lazy girls should ask for this year. There are both things you will want, and things you never realized you needed. These items will help enable your sloth-like lifestyle, which I fully support, in case you couldn’t tell. Here are a few lazy-girl approved items out there that you need to check out, to add to your holiday wish list, or to gift to like-minded friends. Happy holidays!
1. Dry Shampoo
If you’re lazy, you know that you like to go as long as possible without doing your hair.. So, you might skip washing your hair for a few days. Some really good dry shampoo is a great thing to have to get you through those days without looking too greasy.
Joggers are stylish and trendy enough to dress up and wear out, even though they’re basically sweatpants, which is ideal. They’re also comfy enough to wear around the house.
3. A cute planner:
Planners make life easier, which is awesome if you’re lazy AF. Hey, you can be organized and still lazy, you know!
4. A cozy blanket:
A cozy and warm blanket is a perfect way to complete your lazy Sundays (and Mondays, and Tuesdays…). Curl up and watch Netflix. It’s every girl’s lazy dream.
5. Some Uber credit:
TBH, I asked for this last year and it saved my life. Maybe you’re too lazy to walk home, or it’s cold and you don’t want to wait for a bus. Just get an Uber gift card. It’s perfect for college students or broke twenty somethings.
6. Screen Projector
A screen projector is one of those things I would never buy for myself, but asking for it is a pretty good idea. This way, you can lay in bad and have a makeshift TV without actually buying one.
7. Body Pillow
Sometimes, you want to cuddle with someone, other times, you don’t have a bae to do that with. It’s fine, get a body pillow!
8. Face Mask
When you don’t have time to take care of your face every single day (I get it!) ask for a good face mask. They will make your life so much easier!
9. Pop Socket
I recently got a pop socket and it sort of changed my life. This way, you can lay in bed be on your phone without being afraid of dropping it on your face. Perfect for lazy girls!
10. A cozy sweatshirt:
A sweatshirt is perfect for when you’re feeling lazy and all you want todo is be comfy and happy.
We all have our $2 Forever 21 leggings, but it’s time to get some cute leggings, like these velvet ones I am drooling over. They are so easy to pull on and make an outfit. Plus, they are soft AF.
12. Subscription Boxes
Don’t want to shop? I feel you. Ask for a subscription box! They have boxes for anything you would ever want- makeup, clothes, jewelry, etc.
13. Wallet Phone Case
Not only is this good for lazy girls, but it’s also good for girls who lose their wallets a lot. This way, you never have to spend that extra energy digging through your bag for your wallet.
14. Amazon Prime Account
If you are lazy when it comes to shopping (all of us, TBH) then get yourself set up with an Amazon Prime account. It has free two day shipping, so you can get anything your lazy heart desires.
15. Amazon Echo Dot
If you want a tiny robot to do things for you, try an Amazon Echo. It’s handy AF and a great gift to ask for, since it can get a little pricey.
