One of the best things about being in a relationship with someone is having the ability to text them. Whether it’s a text about their day, a quick check-in, or a context-free meme, it’s nice knowing that there’s a person out there who kinda just has to, like, deal with whatever you want to throw at them. (With love, of course.)
Still, just because you can text someone anything you want at any point of the day, this doesn’t mean that you should. Lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of, ahem, problematic texts between people who claim to be in relationships, and honestly? I have had quite enough of them, thanks. I am sure you can agree, right? To stay safe, check out these texts that you should probably never send when you’re in a relationship:
1. First of all, why are you even…sending this to someone?
2. Or this?
3. Seems…needy. On both ends:
4. And this is unnecessarily possessive!
6. Put these two in JAIL:
8. This is not cute!
9. Nor is this:
10. Ah, yes. Nothing like…physical abuse?
11. This is…a lot:
12. I’m MAD:
What do you think of these texts? Would you ever send any of them? Let us know in the comments!
