Hey girls: let’s talk about masturbating. Specifically, let’s talk about not masturbating. There is totally nothing wrong with you if you don’t masturbate. Some girls don’t want to, and that’s okay! It’s 100 percent up to you and whatever you are comfortable with. You should never masturbate if you don’t want to, since that can make sex feel like a chore, and you don’t want that.
That being said, sometimes, you might want to masturbate, but don’t have to time or feel guilty about it. Both of these things are normal. What you might not have known is that your body will send you little signs that you SHOULD be doing it, even if you haven’t in a while. I know, I know, it’s weird, but there are some sneaky signs that you might not be masturbating enough, or that your body really wants you to “love yourself” once in a while. You Have "Wet Dreams"Here's the deal: there is nothing wrong with not masturbating, but if you aren't doing it enough (or at all) your body will try to release that sexual energy somewhere else. You're Always HornyObviously, if you're not masturbating, you're going to be pretty horny. There is nothing wrong with being horny, but if it starts to distract you from things like school or work, you should consider setting aside some time to get it on with yourself so that you won't be 100 percent horny ALL the time. You Don't Masturbate Because It Doesn't Feel GoodIf you have masturbated a few times before and it doesn't feel good, that's normal. It takes a long time to get used to your body. If you're stressed all the time, it might not be a sign that you aren't masturbating enough, BUT, it can really help if you decide to masturbate once in a while. You Take Certain MedicationsThis is weird, but hear me out: certain medications, like antidepressants, can make you not horny at all. Again, there is nothing wrong with that, but you might feel like there is something wrong with you for not wanting to masturbate. There isn't! You should never masturbate if you don't want to, but if you are NEVER in the mood, a certain medication can be the reason, and you might want to check it out!
