15 Signs You And Bae Are An Annoying Relationship Goals Couple

Are you on Instagram? Twitter? Pinterest? Facebook, even? Great. If so, you will doubtless be familiar with a concept known as relationship goals, the phenomenon in which two people decide to couple up, take photos together, and exploit their own relationship for the purpose of garnering likes. If you are also in a relationship, chances are good that you have gotten caught up in the #goals hype and are trying to be one of those couples that people look at and comment #goals because you are so adorable and do such fun things that lead to nice, aesthetically pleasing photos. A brief look at these gorgeous couples who seem to get the best presents and go on the best vacations and who seem to be completely obsessed with each other makes it seem like this is a good thing, but is it, really? I’m not convinced.

Acting like one of these relationship goals couples seems as though it is really, truly, and genuinely exhausting. I would not wish it upon anyone who did not have a healthy sponsorship deal and/or exit plan in sight. But it is possible that you have begun exhibiting what may be considered relationship goals tendencies–which, of course, can only lead to bad things. So, if you’re not sure if you and your bae are an annoying relationship goals couple, check out the warning signs right here. (Spoiler: You’re probably just fine.)
