It’s almost May, and we have officially reached the final stretch of the school year. If you’re graduating, this time of year can be incredibly hectic and overwhelming. If you’re graduating and you’re a lazy girl, this time of year might seem impossible. You have so much to do and so little time to do it. You might feel pressured to do all of this end of year stuff, which can be stressful and annoying when all you want to do is, like, sleep.
It kind of sucks to be a lazy girl during graduation season. You really want to go out and make the best of the last few weeks you have with your school friends, but you also need to finish up your school work AND start prepping for college. It’s a lot of things to do, and I don’t blame you for getting stressed out. But, there are a few easy things that you, yes, you, a lazy girl, should do before graduating high school. I’m not going to tell you to go on some life-changing road trip with your BFFs, or pull and ultimate senior prank, since, TBH who does that. But, here are some things that every lazy girl can and should do before graduating high school. Good luck!
Get Your Teacher's Contact InfoYou might not realize it, but it's good to have some other teacher's contact info for the future. Keeping in touch with teachers is actually pretty easy, all you need to do is get their email or number. You might not need it, but it's always good to have, in case you want to catch up or ask them for some advice. Image Source: iStock
Take A Sick DayI am not TECHNICALLY telling you to skip class but...why not. You deserve it. You've been waking up at the crack of dawn for years to go to school, it won't hurt if you sleep in one day. Image Source: iStock
Attend A Random School EventListen, you've gone to this school for four years. There's got to be one thing you've been meaning to do but just forgot. Do you want to go to a LAX game and laugh at all of the players? Do it. This is your last time. Image Source: iStock
Learn How TF To Do Your LaundryIf you're going to college, it's time to learn how to do your laundry. Come on! As your parents to help you out if you don't know how. You NEED to know how to do this by the time August rolls around, so you better know now. Image Source: iStock
Think Of What You'll Write In Your BFF's YearbookGuys, yearbook signatures are important. You don't want to write "have a good summer" when you're presented with yearbooks. Think about it ahead of time so you don't have to rush through it when the time comes. A yearbook is something that people keep forever, so you want to make sure you leave a good mark! Make A Summer PlanAre you working this summer? Are you saving up for college? Are you chilling alllll summer long? All of these are fine, but makes sure to have a summer plan. The summer will go by really fast, so you want to make sure you know what you're doing. Image Source: iStock
Start Cleaning Your LockerI don't know about you, but cleaning out my locker was the worst part about the end of the year. I accumulated SO much random stuff, and it took me hours to clean it out. Start early so you don't have to waste all of that time you should be spending with your friends cleaning out your locker. Image Source: iStock
Take PicturesYou're going to want to remember these weird high school memories somehow, and you're OBVIOUSLY going to need to print them and put them on the walls of your dorm room, so now is the time to start planning those collages. You can use a trendy Polaroid camera, or even just take pictures on your phone and print them later, to preserve all of your senior year memories. Image Source: iStock
Get In Touch With Your College RoommateTBH, it's never too early to get in touch with your roommate. Ask them about what they are bringing to your room so you can coordinate with that you have. If you can, ask them to meet up with you over the summer! It will be good to see them before you move in. Image Source: iStock
Get Contact Info For FriendsYes, we all have Facebook, but you never know if your friend might delete their FB (it happens) or change their email address. Make sure you get your friend's phone numbers and contact info so you don't lose touch after graduation! Image Source: iStock
