What This Boyfriend Did Is Actually A Relationship Goal

I do truly hate to throw around the term relationship goals, because comparing relationships can be stressful and annoying. That said, there are some things that are ACTUAL goals, and I’m not talking about the “come to your door I have pizza” thing that happens in every early 2000s teen romance movie. I’m talking about when your bae actually supports you and helps you, even when it is a little inconvenient for them. What I’m really talking about here is this boyfriend, Mark, who let his girlfriend wear his shoes to her chemistry class:

Essentially, his girlfriend Vanessa had a chemistry midterm that she couldn’t miss, but the teacher had a strict “no open shoes” policy which would force her to change her shoes. Since chemistry class can get a little messy, I think that rule is pretty valid. But, according to Buzzfeed, this girl didn’t have enough time to go home and grab new shoes, which, let’s be real, would stress out anyone. Luckily for Vanessa, her BF made the ultimate sacrifice: he gave her his shoes.

Honestly, I don’t know any guy who would do this. It is a little weird, but it still is cute. Why do they have the same shoe size? (Well, he did answer that in his bio):

But it’s the thought that counts. Apparently, Vanessa and Mark had been best friends since middle school, and started dating when they both began to attend the University Of Hawaii, Maui. Obviously, other Twitter users agreed that Mark really took one for the team.

The moral of the story here is to get you a guy who will sacrifice his orthopedic comfort in order for you to get a good grade. Also, TBH, he looked good in those sandals. But that’s not the point. The point is that you should support your bae as much as you can…even if it’s just letting them borrow your shoes for a few hours.
