17 Things That Perfectly Describe You When You Do Your Makeup

If you are looking to become a makeup enthusiast, now is probably as good a time to do that as will ever. Makeup is firmly embedded in pretty much all aspects culture today–specifically if you spend a lot of time online–so knowing about makeup is pretty much inevitable. Even if you aren’t particularly interested in makeup, and never plan on being interested in it, chances are good that you are at least a little bit familiar with the makeup products and “challenges” that make the rounds every now and then, like using a tomato as a makeup sponge and trying Cheeto dust as DIY highlighter.

So, with makeup (“makeup culture?” Maybe?) being so prevalent in daily life, it stands to reason that makeup memes are, too–memes imitate life, after all, and what is life if not one long beauty tutorial? (A lot of things, technically, but that is not what we are here to discuss today.) But here’s the thing about deciding to get into makeup–when you first start, you are all but guaranteed to be very, very, bad at it. Sure, those beauty vloggers make their contour and winged liner look easy, but when it comes down to your actual product, it, uh probably isn’t going to look like that. It’s okay! You’re definitely not alone, and these memes about doing your own makeup prove it:
