Bodies are weird. They have a lot to do to keep us alive, and this often results in some strange happenings that lead to endless questions. Like, why do some people get so sick so often and others don’t? Why are some nipples inverted and so many aren’t? Why do hairs suddenly pop up on completely random parts of your body without notice? Why do you get that mysterious pain in your right side out of nowhere that doesn’t seem to connect to anything else? There are lots of answers available, sometimes, but the main takeaway is that our bodies are constantly doing “weird” things that we sometimes assume only happen to us. The truth? All bodies are weird, and I bet that there is at least one other person out there who has experienced every strange thing you have. At least you have that for comfort when you’re stressing about what TF is going on with you!
In all seriousness, though, it can be extremely disconcerting to feel something off happening with no idea why. A lot of the time, this stuff is kind of embarrassing, so we don’t bring it up to anyone else, and we just hope that everything is fine. Usually, everything is fine, and what we’re dealing with is a whole lot more normal than we thought. There’s proof of this in several different Ask Reddit threads, like this one on weird things the female body does or this one about more weird things or this one about even more! Want to know if there’s something strange going on or if you’re totally fine? Read below for the things you thought only your bodes that that are actually pretty normal. I promise you’ll feel better in the end.
Which one of these things have you experienced? What’s the weirdest thing that happens to your body that you think doesn’t happen to anyone else? Tell us in the comments.
