Halloween is awesome when you’re five years old. Halloween when you’re 10 years old is just as cool. But what about when you’re a teen and not quite sure what to do with yourself on October 31st? Eventually, you get to the age where Halloween is something you really look forward too, but are not sure if you should participate in. Should you go out and snag some free candy, or will everyone say you’re too old? Should you stay in and watch scary movies, or is that boring? Maybe there’s a spooky party you can go to? How do you know if you’re “too old” to dress up in costume on Halloween? As someone who loves Halloween, I say you are never too old to go trick-or-treating. But, as someone who is also over the age of 10, I have to admit, it can be a little weird to go out and trick-or-treat among groups of toddlers. So, what should you actually do this Halloween?
Not to say that trick-or-treating is totally out of the question, but you have other options. Halloween is a spooky night filled with a ton of possibilities and cool things you can do. You aren’t limited to just asking strangers for candy. You can freak yourself out with creepy movies, throw your own mini party, go to a haunted house, or… do nothing? Halloween can be fun no matter what age you are! But if you’re stuck in that “not a girl, not yet a woman” phase, it can be hard to figure it out on your own. If you aren’t sure of what to do this October 31st, try this quiz to see what would be best for you! And if you want to go trick-or-treating, I say go for it.
