It’s hard out there for those of us with big boobs. We can’t just roll up into Victoria’s Secret and find a cute bra that actually fits. You can’t just step into any clothing store and find a swim suit top that won’t lead to an immediate wardrobe malfunction. Bralettes are a pipe dream and it’s impossible to wear those trendy Calvin Klein sports bras without getting the feeling that they weren’t meant for a boobs like yours. It’s even hard, as a woman of color, to maintain excitement over new lingerie brands targeting people with darker skin; I’d love a nude bra that is brown, not beige, as much as the next dark skinned girl, but if they don’t cater to anybody above a D cup, then it’s still out of range.
The fact is that those of us with large breasts have a harder time finding bras, especially bras that aren’t too pricy. But, it can be worth it to bite the bullet on price so that you can find a bra that accommodates your boobs perfectly. So, where to start? Sure, you can go to a specialty boutique or a department store to find a bra that actually fits, but I’m going to make your search a little easier. Here are 20 bra brands that actually carry sizes beyond a DD. Give ’em a go!
Panache is such a solid brand. Their sizes range from D to K and the bras are actually–wait for it–really effing pretty. Finding pretty bras in larger sizes is such a hassle, but it’s made easy if you go for a panache bra. Their sports bras are killer, too. Personally, I’d recommend the Panache Underwire Sports Bra to anyone with large breasts; I even double it as a bathing suit top. Plus, this brand is really easy to find, whether you’re going to Nordstrom, a boutique, Amazon, etc.
2. Cleo By Panache
Okay, so imagine Panache with a fun loving twist. Panache’s original bras are more mature, while Cleo by Panache is a little more youthful. The size range is the same, but the color palette is brighter and the patterns are a lot more fun.
Wacoal is probably the most accessible of all of the bra brands on this list. You can find them everywhere, from department stores to specialty boutiques. Their bras range from an A-I cup. If you’re looking for a dependable bra with no over the top frills, this is the way to go.
Chantelle bras are elegant, simple, and refined. If you want a bra that feels beautiful and comes in a wide variety of colors and designs, you’ll find it with Chantelle. Also, there are a lot of nice lacy options with this brand, if that’s your speed. They range from an B-I cup and up to a 44 band size.
Freya bras are available in cup sizes B-K and are perfect for those of you who like bras in simple silhouettes without a ton of frill. Also, their bras come in a ton of different colors and patterns, so if you’re tired of wearing a black, white, or nude colored bra day in and day out, you might want to see if your local department store or boutique carries Freya.
Figleaves is known for selling multiple lingerie brands, but they also have their own in-house lines as well. No surprise: It’s pretty damn nice. You can probably only find it at Figleaves’ site, but it’s still worth checking out if you’re curious. Their cup sizes range from A-GG.
7. Parfait By Affinitas
Parfait is one of the few brands with a wide range of bra sizes that’s actually affordable. You can often find a Parfait bra at a department store or specialty bra store for under $50. This is a great option for those of you who want a good bra but aren’t willing to spend a lot of coin for one.
For those of you who are looking for a simple bra without a lot of excess design, you might want to check out Natori. Their bras aren’t at all over the top and the color range is pretty sweet. They tp out at a G-cup and are readily available at department stores like Nordstrom.
Looking for a good sports bra that actually comes in your size? Well, if you wear up to an E/F cup, you’re in luck, because Nike offers a few sports bras that go beyond a D cup. Plus, they’re sports bras that actually look cool, which is a rarity.
Bravissimo is a UK based lingerie retailer that specializes in bras that are a D cup and up. They also have their own in-house bra brand as well! If you’re in the UK, you’re in luck, because they also have several physical locations so you don’t have to rely on online shopping to get a colorful bra that actually fits and looks dope. Their sizes top out at a K cup.
12. Curvy Kate
This bra brand carries sizes D-K and they sell swimwear, too! If you’re comfortable buying bras online, you can find their bras at a ton of sites, from Amazon to ASOS and more.
Whether you’re looking for a bra or a bathing suit, Fantasie is definitely a brand to check out. They even have plus sizes available! You can find them online but the brand is also sold at several department stores, including Nordstrom.
Are you a plus-size girl looking for bras that actually have band sizes beyond 40? Then you need to check out Elila. Not only is the size range killer–B-N cups, 34-54 bands–the bras are actually pretty and don’t look boring and matronly like a lot of large bras. It’s about time…
You won’t find a ton of funky prints with Triumph, but you’ll have a wide range of colors to choose from. From t-shirt bras, to push-ups, to wireless options, you’ll see something that appeals to you. Their cup sizes max out at G.
16. Tutti Rouge
If you like bras that are fun and vintage inspired, you need to check out Tutti Rouge. Designed with D-J cups in mind, Tutti Rouge is perfect for those of you who yawn at the sight of a plain beige bra and go “YESSSS!” when you find a bra that comes in, say, yellow, blue, or pink. The patterns are killer, too. Definitely give ’em a look.
17. All Undone
This lingerie company provides a special focus on people who have large cup sizes and small band sizes. Too often, people assume that if you have a large cup size, you probably have a large band size, too. Not the case, and All Undone bras are made to combat that mindset.
18. Harlow And Fox
There’s something about these bras that really get me. They’re simple but have a bit of, I don’t know, mystery to them? A femme fatale streak? IDK, but if you wear a cup size I and below, you’ll find a luxurious bra that will make you feel unstoppable.
19. Le Mystere
Le Mystere bras offer loads of different bra options, from minimizers, to racerbacks, to plunge bras, to t-shirt bras, and even strapless bras. You won’t find a ton of different colors or patterns, but you’ll find a simple bra you can wear every day.
20. Katherine Hamilton
These bras–ranging from D-HH–are super sophisticated looking with a touch of effortless glamour. If you want a bra that will make you feel elegant, you know where to look.
