So, pulling out is more complicated than you might think. It turns out that when done properly, science has proven that it’s actually a pretty effective way to prevent pregnancy. But there’s a big “but” here: Plenty of folks with penises don’t do it properly (especially if they’re teens or young adults who are super new to sex), and it still won’t prevent you from getting an STD. So is pulling out that safe of a safe-sex method? Uh, no, but people are still going to do it, effectively or otherwise, with mixed results.
The world would be a better place if the people who prefer the pull out method were actually good at it and guaranteed to be STD free, but that’s just not the case. But has that stopped anyone from deluding themselves that pulling out is a piece of cake? Of course not! I know this because people are predictably the worst, and because I’ve found some seriously terrible questions about pulling out via Yahoo Answers. Check out eight of them that will make you wish that getting a 100 percent score on a sex ed test was a high school graduation requirement.
2. I’m not…I just…okay.
3. …At least she’s trying to figure out what it is before her BF potentially ruins everything?
5. This is why we need better sex ed in this country.
7. Define “in time” though.
8. I have more questions than answers.
