9 Cheap And Easy Ways To Spend Valentine’s Day With Your Significant Other

Maybe it’s just me, but when it comes to relationships, I feel like people shouldn’t have to spend a ton of money to show their partner how much they love them. A mere sweet gesture, like an unexpected call or some words of encouragement, would mean a lot more than an expensive piece of jewelry or a new dress. So when it comes to holidays like Valentine’s Day, I find all the excessive flowers and lavish gifts really nice, but unnecessary.

So many people are pressured to live up to ridiculously high standards on Valentine’s Day, and that usually involves having to spend a lot of cash. However, there are actually cheaper ways to spend the day with your significant other. If you’re on a budget and you still haven’t made up your mind about how to spend Valentine’s Day, there’s no need to panic (I bet there are tons of other couples who haven’t made plans yet anyway). So just take a deep breath and check out these nine inexpensive and easy ways to spend Valentine’s Day with your significant other.

Have A Cute Picnic

Why dine out at an overpriced and crowded restaurant when you can have a quiet and romantic picnic on your own? You can do a cute indoor picnic, or if the weather's nice enough, you can go outdoors. As an added bonus, you can also spend time with your partner in the kitchen and try out new recipes for your picnic (it doesn't matter if you can't cook, you could always try something simple!)
