    i have extremely curly hair and it is always getting touched by others, i do not enjoy being touched constantly without permission; however, i am white
    people of all races touch my hair, was mentioning the ancestor thing truly necessary? you are not irregular because you are of a different colour, the people who touch your hair are simply fascinated by beautiful curly hair and wish to know the texture of such hair. of course, it wouldn’t hurt for them to ask or to respect that i would rather not hair my hair be pulled on all the time, but what does mentioning the horror of human zoos do? make curly-haired individuals see themselves as some sort of spectacle? make them feel alienated? that we should be pitied?
