We Tested 12 Sports Bras For Big Boobs To Find The One That Works Best

Finding a great sports bra for big boobs that is both supportive and comfortable is not easy. I’m a D cup, and while I know there are lots of girls out there with bigger boobs than me, it’s still difficult for me to find a bra that keeps my girls in check while I’m exercising.

I’ve tried lots of different options over the years from all different kinds of brands: Target, Under Armour, Victoria’s Secret, Adidas, Nike, Champion, etc. I’ve found great Under Armour sports bras, but I’ve also found that they tend to strap my boobs so tightly in place that they feel a little suffocated, so that’s not ideal. My current number one favorite sports bra is Incredible by Victoria’s Secret Front-Close Sports Bra. I know that VS doesn’t make great bras for big boobs, but guys, this sports bra is different: it’s really amazing.

Even after finding this awesome option, I was still curious about the highly-rated sports bras out there. So, I enlisted the help of the rest of the Gurl staff – Caitlin, Ashley, and Sarah – to help me tested out some really popular sports bras made with big boobs in mind. Do they actually work well? Are they supportive AND comfortable? Are they affordable? You can read on to find out – and to help you decide which one you should buy.

We all wore these bras while doing the same 10 minute fitness cardio video (watch here!), so the results are accurate (and we’re all exhausted). We reviewed them based on comfort, support, style, how it deals with sweat, and cost. Check out our reviews of 12 popular sports bras:

Which of these is your favorite? Have you tried any of these? What is your favorite sports bra? Tell me in the comments.

I love the sports bra with the zipper from victoria’s secret, it doesn’t go over your head so it won’t stretch out as quickly and it’s way easier to take off after working out when you’re all sweaty. Does take a bit of practice to figure out getting it on though it’s an odd angle for a zipper until you get the hang of it.
