Are You Still A Virgin If You Masturbate?

Everyone has their own idea of what virginity means. For some people, you lose your virginity when you go all the way and have sex with someone. For others, it means when you have oral sex. Some people believe that any kind of sexual contact means you've lost your virginity. If that's the case, then sure, masturbation (which is a sex act) could mean you lose your virginity. But honestly, that's up to you!

Can You Masturbate If You Have Your Period?

You can totally masturbate when you have your period! It may be a little bit more messy than usual, so I recommend laying on a towel or doing it in the shower. If you don't want to put your fingers down there, try using a sex toy like a vibrator. If you're comfortable doing this, do it!

Actually, masturbating during your period could help you. Having an orgasm helps get rid of cramps, so giving yourself an orgasm will make you feel better!

How Old Do You Have To Be To Start Masturbating?

A lot of you ask how old you have to be to start masturbating. There is no right answer here. Some people start masturbating when they begin puberty, around 9, 10, 11, or 12. Others wait until they're in high school, and some people don't even start experimenting until they're in college! Researchers have also found instances of children who masturbate, although they don't really know what they're doing.

The answer? When you start to feel the urge to masturbate, that's when the time is right!

Is There A Wrong Way To Masturbate?

The simple answer: no. There is no right or wrong way to masturbate. Different things work for different people, and that's totally fine. Some girls might be able to masturbate using only their finger and their thoughts. Other girls may need more sexual stimulation, like watching pornography or using lube. Some girls may need to use a sex toy like a vibrator. Some girls do it laying down in bed, others do it standing in the shower. It really doesn't matter. Focus on what feels good for you.

Why Can't You Orgasm?

A lot of women have trouble having an orgasm, even when they're trying to give themselves one. Most women have orgasms through clitoral stimulation, so the key is to explore down there and find your clitoris. You can do this by spreading your legs and looking in a mirror, or you can just move your fingers around until you find a spot that feels good.

Here are a few things to do to increase your chance of orgasm: 1) Relax. You'll have a really hard time having an orgasm if you're stressed out or if your mind is on a lot of other things. Or even if you're really focused on having an orgasm! Try to keep your mind blank. 2) Use lube. The wetter is down there, the better it will feel! 3) Try some sort of stimulation, like watching something that turns you on or reading something. 4) Set the mood, as silly as it sounds. Light some candles, lay in bed, wear something sexy. 5) Keep experimenting. It takes some people a long time to figure out what works for them. Don't get discouraged!

What Happens If You Start Bleeding While Masturbating?

If you notice some blood on your fingers after masturbating, don't go into a panic. A few things could be going on. You could have cut yourself down there, especially if you have long or ragged fingernails. If you were using an outside object, that could have caused an irritation as well.

If you've recently had unprotected sex and you don't know why you're bleeding, head to the gynecologist just to be sure. But if it's only a little bit of blood, you probably just nicked something down there.

Is It Possible To Masturbate Too Much?

There are some people who masturbate once a day, every day. Then there are others who only do it once every few weeks. Whatever is right for you is right for you. The only time I would say masturbation might be a problem is if you feel like you can't get through a day without it, or if it's messing with your life in some way. For example, if you want to stop having sex with your S.O. because you'd rather masturbate, or if it affects your day. As long as it's under control, it's fine!

Is Masturbation A Sin?

I went to Catholic school growing up, so I know how much the Catholic and Christian religions hate masturbation. My nun teachers used to tell us that masturbation was a sin that would send us to purgatory. Honestly, it was pretty scary!

Yes, certain religions do consider masturbation a sin. But many, many people don't. If you are very religious and choose to believe in the Christian faith, maybe you feel that way. I personally do not. This has to be what YOU feel. If you feel that it's not a sin, then it's not. Don't make yourself feel guilty for masturbating. It is NOT a bad thing.

Does Masturbating Make You A Slut?

Definitely, definitely not. First of all, hate the word "slut." Second, why would masturbation mean anything negative about you? It's a completely normal and healthy way to explore your sexuality. There are so many benefits to masturbation, like how it boosts your immune system, gets rid of stress, makes you happier, helps you sleep, etc. There is nothing about it that should make you feel bad about yourself.

Is It Weird To Masturbate To Girl-On-Girl Porn If I'm Straight?

No, it's really not. Everyone gets turned on by different things. Watching lesbian porn does not mean you're gay - I just wrote about that, actually! It might mean that you're more into sensual porn. Lesbian porn also focuses more on clitoral stimulation, which could turn you on because that's our big sexual part. Maybe you feel safe exploring this part of your sexuality through porn - that's okay too.

Regardless of the reason why you watch lesbian porn, I can promise you it's not weird. Enjoy!

Is Masturbation Considered Cheating?

I honestly don't believe that masturbation is considered cheating. Masturbation is self-love. It's about you exploring your body and your sexuality. How can you cheat on someone with yourself? It doesn't make sense!
