Comments Of The Week: Is Porn Cheating?

Porn is a very touchy subject with a lot of people. Some are completely comfortable with the idea that porn is nothing other than a sexual stimulant, while others think it is completely gross and degrading to women. My stance on the porn debate is that I am totally for girls watching porn. It’s a personal preference that everyone has their own view on, and that’s totally fine. But a bigger argument that I have seen come out of the watch/don’t watch debate is whether porn is considered cheating.

If your boyfriend/girl watches porn and masturbates to what they see, is that the same as cheating with another person? I don’t think I would have an issue with my boyfriend watching porn. But many of you strongly dislike your S.O.s watching porn. There are strong arguments for both sides. Here are your top 10 comments on whether porn is a form of cheating.

Generally speaking no. Now when you add the why & reason factor it can change ones perspective. I don’t see how watching images that you cannot interact with constitutes cheating. Out of curiosity I visited some sites to see for myself what the allure is. There are various degrees of it ranging from what you already see in movies & TV to raunchy to fetishes. The fetishes & some raunchy was disgusting or looked painful! Being a newbie to porn sites the amount of categories was staggering so I asked my man about each one & he’d tell me don’t go there or its ok.
If you & your partner are open to adventures you may find things that appeal to you. I found some things very erotic & we’ve talked about some things. We are into each other not the images on the screen. There’s no comparisons so we don’t feel we have to measure up.
The live cams on the sites I don’t care for nor the hook up links. Too much temptation for cheating & are off limits. They also require money & interaction. I’ve chatted with a cam girl who opened a forum for a Q&A session. It was enlightening. She was also gorgeous as most I’ve seen are,but down to earth & matter of fact about her chosen profession. It’s probably the safest nonphysical contact form of prostitution there is. She doesn’t do the porn films but makes $6.00 a minute for someone to watch her pleasure herself & talk to customer.
I still see it as a form of cheating but the porn, no.

Interesting how you only decided to take the negative (down-putting and disrecpectful) comments here… I find that quite unprofessional, leave your own opinion out of this and make sure everyone gets to relate instead of just people who think like you, Candice…

It’s not cheating. It’s like when girls watch romance movies. Sometimes we need some extra romantic satisfaction and some times they need more sexual satisfaction. And guess what… Sometimes those examples even happen the other way around (Gasp) it’s just natural.
