“What a bitch!” is a common phrase I hear almost on a day-to-day basis. A girl upsets another girl, does something wrong, says “excuse me,” and BAM! Labeled as a “bitch.” It makes no sense to me why this word is now used in everyday life to describe a girl. And don’t even get me started on the word “bitch” being used to describe a girl who speaks her mind or stands up for her beliefs. This is not a “bitch,” and I will go rounds with anyone who disputes this.
Let’s be real: no one ever wants to be called a bitch. It’s not a great feeling to hear someone describe you this way, and it can make you feel like you’re doing something wrong. But maybe you’re not – maybe the person insulting you is completely off base. If you’ve ever wondered whether you’re really a bitch or not, wonder no more, because we’re here to help.
