Hi, my name is Candice, and I am single. I repeat: I am a girl in this big, huge world that is going at it solo. I do not have a boyfriend, and I’m completely content with that. I’m 14 and haven’t dated however I’m quite precocious and have never felt the need to fit in (date,go to parties, wear makeup etc). I’m an introvert as well and I figure if it happens it happens however I don’t really want to date in high school because it’d be a distraction but if the opportunity arrives I’ll weigh the pros and cons and make an informed decision on the situation.

I’ve been single for two months and I’ve learned a lot about myself than ever in my life. Now I know I’m a very valuable and beautiful person and I’ll do anything to help myself.
I can’t stop loving my ex, but he was so ruthless when he broke up with me that I see the best thing to do is to be away.
In previous breakups I always looked for a replacement or someone to be with, but that made me see how abandoned I was and that I didn’t know myself at all.
I’ve learned to take life as it is and that I can’t change the past… but I can learn from it so I don’t live the experience over and over again.
