Comments Of The Week: Awful Friends

Every group of friends go through a rough patch. Seriously, every single one. You might have the strongest bond and the happiest memories, but we’re all human and we don’t always see eye to eye. Sometimes we have misunderstandings, other times we change and realize that our friends aren’t providing us with what we need. Either way, friendships change in all sorts of ways, especially when you’re a teenager.

Unfortunately, some of our closest friends can feel like our biggest enemies. Other times, they might seem like total strangers, leaving us to watch them drift away slowly but surely out of our lives. If you can relate to some turbulent friendships, check out these 10 comments from your fellow readers. You’re a lot less alone than you might think!

As to slide #6 (Teah), my question would be whether her friend was just posting pictures of her and Vanessa, or if she appeared to be communicating with others over social media as well. If she was talking to other people but ignoring you, then yes, I would be upset. But if not, she may have just been enjoying hanging out with Vanessa (including posting pictures of their fun) without feeling the need to talk to other people. I know I hate when I’m hanging out with someone and they’re too bust texting other people to enjoy our time together.
