Raise your hand if you have ever worn pajamas in public. And don’t be ashamed, because there’s nothing wrong with that. Especially if your pajama pants look like these International Princess Project pajama pants, because they’re gorgeous and absolutely must be worn out in public to be seen.
What exactly is the International Princess Project? It’s a company with a pretty amazing mission that also happens to make really cute pants. To put it simply, IPP helps victims of sex trafficking and slavery. IPP partners with indigenous organizations to create sewing centers. They then take women who are victims of sex slavery and give them jobs in these sewing centers, where they make these pants, called PUNJAMMIES™. The pants are sold all over the world, and 100 percent of the proceeds are re-invested back into the company.
Not only are these women given jobs and the chance to learn a new trade, they also become part of a loving community. IPP isn’t just about making pants, it’s about helping women heal from the traumatic events of their past. IPP gives the women high wages, housing options, medical care, and even education for their children. Each pair of PUNJAMMIES™ is named after a woman in one of the sewing centers.
Isn’t that incredible? We thought so too, which is why we wanted to introduce you guys to IPP. Two of you will win a pair of PUNJAMMIES™ of your choice by entering below. For everyone else who wants to make a difference and get a cute pair of pants, check out the website to shop on your own.
