If you have a decent amount of jewelry, then you already know how difficult it is to organize it. Rings and earrings are usually tiny and can be lost easily, while bangles and bracelets can be so clunky that they’re difficult to keep in a small space. And don’t even get me started on necklaces, which tend to tangle immediately, resulting in jewelry knots you just can’t get out.
Sure, you can go out and buy a few jewelry organizers, but that can get expensive very quickly. If you’re low on cash, or you just want to do something unique and different, there are a bunch of easy ways you can store your jewelry that will also look really pretty in your room. Because your jewelry is special – why not show it off even when you’re not wearing it? Here are 14 easy tips on how to organize your jewelry… all of which will look awesome:
If you don’t have a ton of jewelry, find a bunch of pretty teacups or dishes and use them for storage. You can place them in a drawer or on your dresser.
Save space by storing jewelry on a shelf you already have in your room. Drill some holes in the bottom and add little hooks to hang your jewelry from.
If you already bought jewelry holders but don’t know where to put them, stick them in a drawer so that they’re out of the way, but still easy to look through.
Or just buy drawer separators and use them to hold your jewelry! Clear ones make it easy to find what you’re looking for.
If you have a ton of jewelry, make your own “jewelry boxes” by buying cheap storage drawers and some foam. These can easily be placed on the floor of your closet.
Recycle pretty glass bottles by using them to stack bangles and bracelets. This looks so pretty!

If you’re low on space, store your necklaces and earrings in your closet by making a jewelry hanger.
Repurpose a plastic shoe organizer by using it to hold your jewelry instead. I like the idea of framing it to make it look a little nicer.
Make your own hanging jewelry holder with tacks and a cork board.
Or get even larger pieces of cork board and hang them on the inside of your closet door to save space.
If you don’t have a lot of jewelry, put what you do have on display with clear trays. Only use a few pieces though – this can easily get very messy.
Hang up a towel rack, put some hooks on it, and drape your necklaces on them.
I can’t decide if I love this or not, but if you have an extra tennis racket (and you’re a fan of the sport), repurpose it to hold your jewelry.
