Since it’s the end of February, we’re starting to cross into prom season. Prom can be anywhere from March to June, but it’s never too early to start preparing for it, especially when it comes to your hair. One of my cardinal rules for any major event is to test your hair style beforehand a few times so that you know it’s going to stay throughout the night.
I tried out several styles before my prom to make sure that I had one I really loved and that worked with my dress. I highly advise you start testing out your options now to see what you like! For my curly and wavy girls, here are 10 awesome and easy styles that you can try. And don’t worry, we’re going to showcase tutorials for other hair types too!
Braid your curls into a pretty side bun. Feel free to add some embellished bobby pins for a fancier look.
If you’re more into a boho look, do this cute and messy ponytail.
This adorable chignon would look great with any dress.
Try doing a waterfall braid to the side for a chic, effortless updo.
Do a double-braided updo for a romantic look.
Or tie your hair into a super cute half-up bow. I love this!
Or you could do this amazing Celtic knot that’s a lot easier than it looks.
This braided crown is so soft and pretty. You’ll look like a princess!
Twist your curls into little buns to create a super curly and easy updo.
Twist small pieces and pin in the back for this laid-back half updo.
