Rejection sucks, no matter what form it comes in. It’s just one of those crappy things we all have to deal with. You may get rejected from a college or program. You can get rejected from a job you really want. And you can also be rejected by people, which is the worst whether you’re being rejected or are rejecting someone.

But being rejected is so much worse than rejecting someone because you have to deal with the pain and confusion of it. You might think someone likes you and get rejected when trying to make a move. You might finally ask your crush out only to get let down. It’s never fun. Here are 10 thoughts you’ll have when you’ve been rejected:
