The 15 Most Ridiculous Reactions To Justin Bieber’s Arrest In The #FreeJustinBieber Hashtag

Justin Bieber Mugshot

Justin’s mugshot has officially hit the Internet.

According to reports, Justin Bieber was arrested in Miami, Florida last night for driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving with an expired license. As I’m sure you can imagine, the Internet is going crazy with reactions to the news. And honestly, most of the reactions are pretty gross.

I’ve heard/seen an uncomfortable amount of people expressing their joy at Justin Bieber being arrested for a DUI. Even as a fan, I get that Justin has been acting like an entitled jerk lately, but I still can’t wrap my mind around why ANYONE would be happy about watching a young person’s life spiraling out of control. Does Justin deserve to be arrested for a DUI? Of course he does! A DUI is never acceptable and no one should be driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, ever. This is a serious offense – he could have hurt or even killed someone else or himself. It’s not a joke and nothing that should be taken lightly.

However, that doesn’t mean his haters should be happy that he’s obviously messing up his life. It also doesn’t mean that his fans should defend his every move right now, which is what a lot of Beliebers are doing.  Twitter is full of either people who are thrilled that Justin got arrested or people who are defending his actions. I feel sorry for Justin, because he clearly needs help right now. But I’m not going to defend his arrest. What he did was wrong, plain and simple. He deserved to get in trouble for it. With that said, here are 15 ridiculous responses to his arrest… because you seriously won’t believe some of these people really think this way.

NO. Don’t glorify his mugshot by making it your phone lock screen! It is not cool or okay.

My only hope is that this is sarcasm. Please let it be sarcasm.

This… no. This isn’t something you use a smiley face for.

Yes, everyone makes mistakes, but drunk driving is a BIG mistake. Being young is not an excuse. And yeah, the media exaggerates things, but they aren’t exaggerating about this.

This is why it’s a problem when a celebrity like Justin Bieber gets arrested for something like a DUI. His fans think it seems cool. And it’s not. In any stretch of the imagination.

Please don’t say things like that.

Drunk driving is NOT having fun like any other teenager. No one should be doing it. It’s not fun and it’s not okay or acceptable.

Stop glorifying his mugshot.

Please be a joke.

He is in jail FOR A REASON. You shouldn’t be protesting anything. He deserves to be in jail right now!

It’s not your fault. It’s his fault. He made the decision to drink and drive. End of story.

Right. But in this case, he really did do the wrong thing. He made himself look bad.

…That would be awful.

But… that doesn’t make any sense.

I think it’s stupid that people are defending justin. My friends is A HUGE belieber but even she admits that he was wrong to do what he did and deserves to be locked up.

How would these defenders feel if one of their friends or family members were injured or killed by a teen drunk driver? Would it be acceptable to lock up that driver?

Someone just said they can see alot of passion in his songs. Obviously they dont know anything about the music business he has hiered and personnel song writers -.- those songs are other peoples great work, he only gets to say and idea or two.

It’s honestly sickening me how many girls are “coming to his defense”. Don’t they realize that he messed up, and BIG TIME for that matter? Honestly, this isn’t the first time he’s gotten in trouble, that his life is spiraling out of control, and yet so many fans (mainly girls) are blind to it. Or they don’t want to admit that he did something wrong. We have certain laws for a reason, (like no DUI), and they, *surprise, surprise* apply to everyone, no matter how famous, or average you are. Does he deserve his punishment? Yes. Can he change his ways for the better? Absolutely. But the real issue we need to deal with here is to tell young people, mainly girls, that when we break the rules over and over again, we deserve the punishment, and NO ONE should be trying to protest, or defend us, because we have to pay the price. It reminds me almost of what my mom told me about troublesome guys; fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. When a guy fools you into thinking he’s a saint when he’s not, and you keep falling for it, you’re getting into deep trouble.

This guy is going out of control. I never liked him in the first place. He did nothing when a bunch of his fans started an appalling trend (yes, I’m talking about the cutforbieber garbage) and has let his fame and fortune take him away from his roots. I hope some of his female fans finally realize how much of a douchebag he is and stop supporting his self-destruction by buying his music. He’s not even old enough to rent a car! One of his “groupies” must’ve rented it for him and boy, i bet they regret it now.

I thought the lock screen was funny because it says “slide to unlock” which made me think of him being in jail. lock. get it? xD

  • SharlzKiDarlz

I think the first one’s joke is the “49% charged”.

I not going to say i’m not upset about cause I am. This exactly what I didn’t want for him since his career start. I remember myself saying that I didn’t want him to be one of those celebrities that end up in jail. I’m saying I love him any less, cause I don’t. But, I just hope he gets his stuff together, I understand he’s under pressure by the media but I need him not to let them get to him. From what I can see, he is a really passionate person, I can just tell by his music. But I just want him to think about what he’s doing and how it could effect him in the long run. I’ll always support me no matter what. His music makes me happy and I just want him to have happiness as corny as that sounds. I’ll always have love for him.
