When you’re in a relationship, Valentine’s Day becomes stressful because the only thing you keep thinking about is what to get your boyfriend. You probably already bought your BF whatever big gift he wanted for Christmas… so what do you get him less than two months later?!
In my opinion, the best gifts on Valentine’s Day are ones that more personalized and sentimental. The perfect Valentine’s Day gift should be more of an experience that you guys can do together, because isn’t V-Day supposed to be about love and spending time together and all that? You could totally buy your BF something more general like an expensive watch or a pair of shoes or something, but I think something more personal is the cutest and best idea. Not sure what to do to make him feel special? Here are 10 creative gift ideas your boyfriend will love.
A Google Chromecast and Netflix SubscriptionIf you and your boo are both really into movies and binge-watching TV shows, this is a great gift idea. Netflix has a few different gift options depending on how much you want to spend. And the Google Chromecast is one of my favorite things ever. It's super easy to set up and will let you stream your Netflix on your TV. If he already has Netflix, just get him the Chromecast! Throw in some popcorn and maybe candy, and get ready to have some romantic movie nights in.
A Personalized Wallet or Pair Of BoxersPersonalized items are always sweet because they show that you put effort into something and didn't just run out to the store at the last minute to grab a gift. The best personalized items are one the person can use a lot - I love the idea of doing either a wallet or something cuter, like a pair of boxers. PersonalizationMall.com has a lot of great options.
Concert TicketsWho is his favorite musician or what is his favorite band? Whatever the answer, find out if they're going on tour in the near future. If so, buy him tickets to see them live! You can buy two so that you can go too, obviously. It will be a fun date that you can both look forward to, and he'll be super excited. And you shouldn't feel pressured to spend a ton on front row tickets or anything like that - he'll appreciate the fact that he's able to be there. Source: ShutterStock
Plan A Day TripI think the best gifts are experiences. Why not plan some sort of day trip (or weekend trip if you have the money) for you and your BF? If you guys love skiing or snowboarding, plan a trip to the mountain for an upcoming weekend. If you live near a big city, plan a trip there for the day to go out to eat and maybe see a play or something. This should totally be based off of what you're both interested in. Source: ShutterStock
InstacanvasIf your BF is really into Instagram, make him something special by ordering an Instacanvas. It's a service where you can pick one of his Instagram pictures and get it on a canvas that he can hang in his room. This is a great gift idea for someone who's interested in photography. Check out your Instacanvas options here!
Cute Boxers and CandyIf you guys haven't been dating very long, I always find that this Valentine's Day gift is a good go-to: a pair of cute boxers and some of his favorite candy. These heart and arrow boxers are from Old Navy and they're less than $10! This is just a simple, cute, and easy idea.
Movie Tickets and A Restaurant Gift CardWant to plan a fun date night for the two of you? Treat him to dinner by getting a gift card or Groupon to a new restaurant near you. You can also buy movie tickets - I know that some places, like BJ's sell movie tickets for cheaper than they would be in the theater. Then you guys can pick a night and do dinner and a movie. Perfect!
A Homemade ScrapbookIf you two have been dating for a long time and you want to get really sentimental, make him a scrapbook of pictures and special memories. It will take a lot of your time, but it will also be worth it when he sees it. Source: ShutterStock
Sexy/Cute 'Gift Cards'Want to get frisky this Valentine's Day? Make him some sexy "gift cards" by writing little coupons for sexual favors (obviously ones you're comfortable with). Tell him he can redeem them at any time. Or you could buy something already created, like this silly pad.
A Candy BasketGift baskets are always fun, and I think this one is really cute. It's called "I love you more than video games" and it's full of video game-themed candy items. You can get it here if your man is a video game nerd.
What are you going to buy your boyfriend for Valentine’s Day? Which of these ideas is your favorite? What did I forget? Tell me in the comments.
