I have a rule when it comes to clothes in my closet: if it hasn’t been worn in a year, it’s time to get rid of it. You’ve had 365 days to wear it so if you haven’t already, you’re never going to. Sorry! This is just a really good trick to keep useless items out of your closet.
But if there’s something you’re dying to keep or you just want to revamp something you love, you can always upcycle! Upcycling is just adjusting something you already have to make it cooler. You can upcycle just about anything these days.
Here are some DIY projects you can try to upcycle your clothes!
Embellish Your Sweater Or Shirt Or Anything
P.S. I Made This has a no-brainer tutorial for adding little embellishments to tops. But you can do this on tops, dresses, skirts, pants, whatever you want!

Add Leopard Print To Shorts Or Jeans

Cover Your Pockets In Sequins
