I don’t know about you guys, but for me, getting my period also means dealing with awful cramps, major bloating, constant exhaustion and horrible headaches. It’s not fun. So, I’m always on the lookout for things that will help ease my many period pains and I’m sure I’m not alone.

Sure, the quickest option for getting rid of any kind of period pain might be to pop a pill like Tylenol or Naproxen, but am I the only one who hates taking a ton of medication during one week of every month? Sometimes, natural remedies are the best way to cure our pains and stay healthy at the same time. There are actually a bunch of different kinds of foods and drinks out there that can help with your PMS symptoms. And – bonus! – they’re yummy!     I have the most painful periods, it makes me ball up and cry or even run to the emergency room, when i say my cramps hurt, I MEAN THEY REALLY FREAKEN HURT!! Medicine doesn’t work most of the time. Its the worst ever!!

    For me the only way to live through these days are drinking lots of herbal tea (mint, hibiscus, raspberry leaf mix is quite good) and using magnesium gel on my skin. Also Chinese Red Flower Oil is good for that! Also on the background i have some meditation music playing, that is also calming.     Another weird thing I instinctively do is, that i start humming and rhythmically swinging back and forth. When it is really bad then it is the only thing i do.

    Food is usually out of my option, if i drink tea and eat very light. Feels like everything I eat puts more pressure in pain.

    My period is painful meaning I can’t move or eat anything . pills or nothing help not even a hot shower , smh. all I can do is cry & lay down its very hard … for me to fall asleep with nothing but pain & my body

      You might want see a doctor. If it’s severe and last more than a few hours or makes it impossible to go to work or school, it can be a sign of some reproductive problems.

    I’m always craving pepsi and alot of chocolate when I’m cramping. I don’t like taking pills and I was told taking baths while cramping you can get an infection. So I just get plenty of rest and sip on hot liquids and eat jello and plenty of fruits.

    The avocado helped a lot I ate it with spinach in thin bread and I feel a lot better
    I also tryed cranberries and blue berries in dark chocolate
