Y’all it may seem like Halloween is far away, but realistically, we’re already near the end of September. I don’t know about you, but I take Halloween costume planning very seriously. In fact, a lot of us here in the office do too. We’re already planning our team costume.
But you don’t have to have an extravagant costume to look fabulous on Halloween. You can make a costume with a simple outfit and some makeup. Seriously! Makeup is probably the best tool in transforming yourself into something spooky or creative!

Face Paint Kit
You can go totally classic with a face paint kit. This opens up a whole world of options as far as costumes are concerned. You can pick up basic face paint kits in any drug store right now!
A Plethora Of Colors
If you're not into face paint, use eye shadow! I have a palette very similar to this one and it comes in so much handy for creating a look to match costumes.
Halloween is the perfect occasion to break out the falsies whether you're going as a cat, a witch or even a clown.
Whatever makeup you use, you definitely want it to last through the night! I'm still loving e.l.f.'s HD Finishing Powder.
Your Favorite Lipstick
No matter what your costume is, a hot colored lip is a great enhancer. Of course, I'll be wearing my trusty Ravish Me Red by Revlon.
Eyeliner is great for your eyes, but it's also perfect for drawing whiskers and a nose on your face if you're going as an animal.
Again, with the glitter! This black shimmer mascara is really great and will make your eyes totally stand out.
I find that Halloween is the best reason to wear glitter. Why not spray it in your hair?
I saw these and HAD to put them in this roundup. You can make a shimmer tattoo in basically any shape so find a way to incorporate that into your costume. I might just get this for everyday use.
Makeup Removing Wipes
You'll probably be tired after Halloween parties and trick or treating (I went door-to-door for candy until I was 18) so makeup removing wipes are the way to go. Don't go to sleep with your Halloween makeup on!
