We’re in August already, y’all. How crazy is that?! I feel like this has been the fastest summer ever, and I haven’t even done half of the things I set out to do this season. I need to get cracking on my summer bucket list, and so do you!
We’ve only got a few weeks left before we’re in the full swing of back-to-school mode, which means there’s only a few weeks to do all of the summer activities you haven’t done yet. If you’re like me, you swore you’d go to the park every day and go to the beach every weekend. But instead, you got sucked into Netflix and barely left your couch.
Check out these 10 things you MUST do before summer’s over!
Have A Summer Fling
It's not too late to find a summer fling! And it's called a fling for a reason. Go get yourself some last minute summer lovin'.
Catch Some Fireflies
You are never too old or too cool to run around with a mason jar catching fireflies.
Take a break from catching bugs to roast up some marshmallows and nosh on s'mores with your friends. Pro-tip: use a Reese's cup instead of regular chocolate. You're welcome.
Go To An Amusement Park
How have you not ridden some roller coasters yet? Get your butt down to the closest amusement park, ride some rides and play carnival games.
You don't even have to find a campsite. Pitch some tents in your backyard and have an awesome outdoor slumber party. Bonus points for telling ghost stories.
Go For A Walk
Grab your friends and go walk around a park, your neighborhood, your school's track. It's amazingly refreshing.
Spend Time Outside
Don't sit inside! I know it's hot out, but go enjoy nature and frolic in some grass!
Document everything! Take pictures on your phone, camera or buy a disposable. Get a waterproof disposable camera to use at the pool. Just take lots and lots of pics with you and your friends. You'll regret it if you don't, I promise.
Have A BBQ
Host a summer BBQ! Invite your friends and grill out all afternoon!
Watch The Sunset
There's something magical about sunsets, which is why you should try to watch as many as possible. It doesn't matter where you are, just watch the sun go down at least once.
Did you finish your summer bucket list? What do you have left to do? Have you done anything on this list? Tell us in the comments!
