As a child of the ’90s, I grew up with some pretty weird food and drink options. But you know what? They were AWESOME. I don’t care that my ketchup was green and purple. The ’90s proved to be a very creative and open-minded time period, and I don’t hate it.
But something really irked me this morning. Astronaut Buzz Aldrin came out recently and said that he hated Tang. Um, excuse me? Who hates Tang? NO ONE. That’s like saying you don’t like Bagel Bites, which is just impossible.
This got me thinking about all the drinks from the ’90s that aren’t really around anymore that I miss. Check out our favorite drinks from the ’90s!
I don't care what Buzz Aldrin says. Tang is amazing, and I love it. It's still available, and I'm going to buy some this week.
SURGE was the most caffeinated drink you could get back in the day, and it was awesome! Who cares if it was basically radioactive and glowed in the dark? It was delicious!
Squeeze-Its were like a more syrupy Kool-Aid, and they were so yummy! They came in those cool twist top bottles, and you literally had to squeeze them to drink them.
Yes, you can still buy Sunny D. But seriously, who still buys Sunny D? This stuff was great because you could avoid drinking that gross, pulpy orange juice your parents loved and have this instead.
Hi-C Ecto Cooler
There has never been a drink flavor better than Hi-C Ecto Cooler. Seriously. It is the best drink flavor to ever exist in the history of drink flavors, and they NEED to bring it back.
Sprite Remix was perfect when you wanted a carbonated fruit taste without the caffeine before bed. RIP.
Oh man, bringing me back! I don't really know what rain or the Sun should taste like, but they tasted delicious according to Snapple. I used to collect these bottles!
Did you have any of these? What was your favorite? Tell us in the comments!
