Obviously with the summer heat, it can be difficult to keep your makeup in place. Even if you’ve conquered being greasy, sometimes your makeup just won’t stay on. And while you don’t need to wear makeup to the beach or the pool, you may want a little bit on here and there if you feel like it.
I’ll throw on some liner and a splash of color before hitting the beach. That’s totally fine. But it sucks when you get in the water or you just get sweaty and end up with makeup everywhere. This happens whether you’re swimming or just walking around town!
This is where waterproof cosmetics come in. They’re not meant for everyday use, but they get the job done when you’re out and about.

Maybelline Falsies Waterproof Mascara
Maybelline Falsies is my absolute favorite drugstore mascara. The waterproof version is just as good and stays on forever.
Revlon PhotoReady Cream Blush
Cream blushes are ideal for summer because they stand up to the heat. This hot pink from Revlon is perfect for a pool day.
MAC Cosmetics Studiofix Powder
This is my every day powder, but it's formulated to hold up to sweat. It usually have to wash my face twice to take it off.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Face & Body Liquid Foundation
If you're looking for serious waterproof coverage, this foundation will do the trick. It's really pricey so only go for it if you absolutely NEED a foundation that will not come off.

And because waterproof makeup is such a pain to take off, I highly recommend using a waterproof makeup remover.
