In the entertainment world, we’re bombarded with vampires. To be honest, I’m a little over the vampire thing. I don’t quite get why in every vampire story the werewolves are the bad guys. I’m way more partial to werewolves than vampires, but maybe that’s because I’m a dog person?
Anyway, season 3 of Teen Wolf premieres on MTV tonight at 10/9C so to celebrate, I’m making the case right here and now for why werewolves are WAY hotter than vampires. I’m confident you’ll agree with me before the next full moon.

Um, have you SEEN them? They are gorgeous!
They’re often shirtless
Like ALL the time. And they’re ripped because of all that werewolf-ing.
They’re warm
Vampires are cold, like glacial. Wolves are warm and cozy. You can snuggle with them in human form or in wolf form.
They’re loyal
Wolves are pack animals, meaning they are very loyal creatures. If you’re on a werewolf’s good side, you’re set.
They have family values
Because their packs are like families, they understand how important family is. If you need to have a family movie night, he’ll understand.

They don’t suck your blood
I don’t know about you, but I like my blood to remain inside my body. Vampires are all about sucking your blood even if they like you. You get a paper cut, and you’re done! Wolves might just nibble on you a bit.
They love the outdoors
With werewolves, there are no limits when it comes to dates. They can go out in sunlight and love being outside. Camping with a werewolf? Yes please!
They’re protective
Werewolves are protective in a sense that they care while vampires make you feel more like property. A werewolf is always looking out for you.
They’re animalistic
Werewolves have that rough, aggressive quality that is oh-so-sexy. I’d definitely rather hook up with a werewolf over a vampire.
